All-Kansas
The All-Kansas critique service provides advisers and their students with insightful commentary on what you do well and how you could improve your news publication, yearbook, video news program and/or your news website. It also ranks each medium to determine and reward the very best in Kansas.
Some of the nation’s top high school journalism advisers read and evaluate each publication, program or site that comes to them, and they create a thorough report for adviser and students. One judge will evaluate each classification, so that judge will see all entries from a class. The best of the publications achieve All-Kansas status for that year.
Deadlines for entries for 2011-2012 are as follows (click on the links for copies of the guidebooks that judges will use; the yearbook deadline has passed):

All-Kansas News Publication Service
Twenty high school news publications — at least one from every classification in the state — earned All-Kansas distinction from the KSPA All-Kansas judging and critique service for 2010.
The winners will receive All-Kansas plaques at the State Contest, scheduled for Saturday at the Kansas Union in Lawrence.
Schools with newspapers or news magazine sent three issues of their publication to KSPA headquarters at KU. Those papers and magazines were sent to judges across the U.S. (from California to New York), who used KSPA guidebook to provide positive feedback and criticisms, and to award the publications All-Kansas (the top rating), Awards of Commendation and Awards of Merit.
