Engel Award
Sponsored by the Kansas Associated Collegiate Press, the Jackie Engel Award is given to top Kansas high school teachers who have demonstrated excellence in publications advising. Nominations of any Kansas Scholastic Press Association adviser are welcome from advisers themselves, or from students, colleagues or administrators on behalf of their advisers.
Amy Morgan of Shawnee Mission West High School won the 2011 award and was honored at the KSPA State Contest brunch on May 7.
