Three Kansas yearbooks judged nation’s best

Yearbooks from Mill Valley High School, Shawnee Mission Northwest and Maize South Middle School won Best of Show recognition at last week’s JEA/NSPA national convention in Washington, D.C.
In all, 16 Kansas publications from 10 schools finished in the top 10 in the carry-in competitions. Newspapers, newspaper special editions and online publications must have been published this school year, while yearbooks were from the 2008-2009 school year.
