The Feb. 21-22 blizzard moved five KSPA regionals off-site, but judges from all of those regionals have completed their tasks — despite an additional delay caused by storms just four and five days later in eastern Kansas.
Below are results from the Pittsburg State, Fort Hays State, Wichita State and University of Kansas regionals, which were finished Friday, March 8. Here’s a link to the results from Emporia State and Kansas State, which reported on Tuesday, March 12. All results are listed on the 2013 Regionals page.
All first-, second- and third-place entries, as well as all three honorable mentions in each category, advance to the state competition, set for Saturday, May 4, at the Kansas Union on the campus of the University of Kansas. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with a general session at 8:50 a.m. and contests at 9:30 a.m. Keep checking the State Contest page for details about state (including the carry-in contest prompts) as they become available. Carry-in contest prompts will be available before April 1.
