Brynna Burnett began working at KSPA during the fall of 2022. She is a programming assistant.
Brynna is a freshman at the University of Kansas majoring in journalism and minoring in Spanish and Music. She participates in the University Daily Kansan, club tennis and choir.
Before attending the University of Kansas, Brynna was heavily involved in Scott Community High School’s journalism programs. She was an editor and writer for her high school newspaper, The Beaver Post, and created digital content for the Beaver Broadcasting Network. In February of 2022, Brynna was awarded first place in enterprise news package by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for her audio PSA, “Fearless and Female.”
She is excited to help support high school journalism departments as Kansas high school journalism teachers have provided her with endless opportunities for success.
