KU Fall Conference 2025 Schedule
We can’t wait to see you at the fall conference. Make the most of your day by pre-planning what you want to see. A few tips:
- TOURS: Sign up by noon Sept. 23 if you want to take a tour of the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
- PREP FOR REPORTING: During the first session, students will have the opportunity to ask a Kansas State High School Activities Association official about the inaugural season of Esports in Kansas. You can use that reporting to help you report stories for your publications. Nervous? No need. An experienced college journalist will walk you through the ups and downs of a press-conference style interview while moderating. If you want to attend, you can learn more about Esports here as you prepare your questions.
- HAVE A BACKUP: With at least 10 options each hour, you’ll have plenty to see at the fall conference. But remember that our presentation spaces vary widely in size from 18 people to more than 500. You’ll always have an option of a place to go, but you might have to adapt and head to one of our larger rooms. Just note the room capacities on the schedule.
- GRAB TREATS WHEN YOU ARRIVE: We’ll have doughnut holes in the Parlor on the fifth floor. The Parlor opens onto the ballroom. It’s also where you’ll find our sponsors from the yearbook companies and representatives from the KU journalism school.
- CHANGE IS POSSIBLE: We’ve confirmed our speakers, but life happens. We’ll do our best to keep you updated on this page!
