Each year, students take on writing, photography, design, reporting, video and reporting projects for the KSPA State Contests. We’ve compiled that winning work in a way we hope helps students learn from and be inspired by the best examples.

In this folder, you’ll find slideshows of winners from our 2025 contests as well as advice from the judges and other things we think students should know. These examples are a great jumping off point as students prepare entries for the regional and state contests as well as a way to discuss creating a wide variety of content for student publications.
