Rachel Harmon teaches yearbook, debate and photography as well as Family and Consumer Science classes at Ulysses High School. She is the current president of the Western Kansas Scholastic Art Association. Additionally, Harmon has officiated high school volleyball and basketball for over 30 years in Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma. Harmon graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio-Television and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Learning. Harmon owned and operated a video production company for almost 30 years producing legal and educational pieces. She has earned numerous video and photography awards and recognition, including 10 Telly Awards, and now serves as a member of the Telly Awards Silver Council. Harmon and her students continuously earn awards in local, state and national competitions that include county fairs, the Scholastic Art program, the Iowa State Fair, the Five State Photography Competition and many others.
