What personally identifiable information is collected?
The KSPA will publish a semi-annual directory with members. The directory will include any information recorded in the “My Profile” section of “My Account” on the KSPA website. Please edit this to reflect information that is current and that you are willing to share with fellow members.
How your information may be used:
KSPA will not share your information with any third-parties except in ways approved by the KSPA board and in the following ways:
- The KSPA directory shared with fellow KSPA members
- Fellow KSPA members include non-voting professional members, such as university faculty, yearbook representatives and other industry professionals.
- Sharing contact information with universities who host KSPA conferences
- Sharing contact information with universities who host KSPA regional contests
The universities are encouraged to use this contact information for KSPA event-planning purposes. However, as partners in journalism education, they may use the contact information to contact members about workshops, recruiting prospective students and/or other events.
Website Directory
The KSPA website provides and up-to-date list of all members and their schools. This does not include contact information.
Email privacy
The KSPA does not provide, sell, or rent email addresses to anyone outside the organization unless otherwise noted in this privacy policy.

www.kspaonline.org includes links to external websites. These links do not fall under the www.kspaonline.org domain, and the KSPA is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of external websites. Your use of any linked website is solely at your own risk.
Modifications
KSPA will not share your information in any ways other than those listed above unless approved by the board. In such cases, this privacy policy will be updated and all members will be notified.
